Study Challenges Orthodoxy of IV Hydration for Prevention of Contrast Nephropathy
SYNOPSIS: This trial randomized 660 patients with chronic kidney disease and a planned procedure requiring intravascular iodinated contrast to prophylactic hydration or to no hydration.
