A new three-drug antihypertensive pill, combining an angiotensin II receptor antagonist (olmesartan [OLM]), a calcium channel blocker (amlodipine [AML]), and a thiazide diuretic (hydrochlorothiazide [HCTZ]), has been approved by the FDA.
