A Fishy Story About Stroke
Several previous studies have reported inverse associations between fish intake and the risk of stroke in men and women. A randomized trial in patients with coronary heart disease, however, found that supplementation with fish oil reduced the risk of acute myocardial infarction but not of stroke.
