What were we taught to do when disease disrupted the self-regulating processes, and physiologic parameters were abnormal? Use medical treatments to restore them to normal values. Dronedarone Approved
The anti-arrhythmic dronedarone has been approved by the FDA for maintenance of normal sinus rhythm in patients with a history of atrial fibrillation or atrial flutter. -
FDA Actions: New Oral Antiplatelet Agent
The FDA has approved prasugrel, a new oral antiplatelet agent for use in preventing thrombosis in patients with acute coronary syndrome who are to be managed by angioplasty.
