Bug-Stock is back!
January 12th, 2015
Make your plans now to attend the second annual IDWeek – aka “Bug-Stock” -- a prestigious gathering of germ meisters from all walks of the infectious disease world.
The IDWeek 2013 meeting will be held Oct. 2-6 in San Francisco, bringing together movers and shakers from the Society for Healthcare Epidemiology of America (SHEA), the Infectious Diseases Society of America (IDSA), the HIV Medicine Association (HIVMA) and the Pediatric Infectious Diseases Society (PIDS).
Look for our full coverage of this event, as we blog, tweet, and send out news alerts on site, providing you with the latest news in prevention, diagnosis, treatment, and epidemiology of infectious diseases.
The program promises everything from Antibiotic stewardship to Zoonotic infections, with a closing plenary featuring the surviving members of the Grateful Dead (ok I made that last one up).
When I got my press pass I was advised that “reporters who attend the meeting will have unparalleled access to the most current science presented by internationally recognized leaders in the field.”
Now, if I can just get the VW van started.
