Reports From the Field: Organization offers educational resources on PTSD
The PTSD Alliance is offering free information packets and other resources on trauma-related stress, signs, symptoms, education, and training resources.
The alliance is a group of professional and advocacy organizations relating to PTSD (post-traumatic stress disorder) issues, including stress, anxiety disorders, and women’s health.
Members include the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists, the Anxiety Disorders Association of America, the International Society for Traumatic Stress Studies, and the Sidran Traumatic Stress Institute.
Information includes patient education booklets, a video, and a guide. The information is available through the PTSD web site: www.PTSDAlliance.org, or by calling the resource center toll-free at (877) 507-PTSD.
