Farewell and Welcome
Dr. Sarah Berga has stepped down from her role as an associate editor of OB/GYN Clinical Alert to focus on her role as Chair of Ob/Gyn at Wake Forest University. As a long-time member of the OB/GYN Clinical Alert editorial board, Sarah provided expert commentary on important developments in reproductive endocrinology and infertility. Her insightful commentary and informative special features will be missed. Please join me in wishing her well with her future activities.
Since reproductive endocrinology, menopause, and infertility represent an important focus in clinical practice, I am very pleased to announce that Dr. Michael Thomas is joining the editorial board as a regular contributor beginning with this issue. Mike is presently Professor of Obstetrics & Gynecology at the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine, where he is also the Director of the Division of Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility, and Program Director of the RE-I fellowship. He is regularly featured on local and national lists of “Best Doctors.” Complementing his distinguished academic career is Mike’s unusual background in communications. His undergraduate major from Northwestern University was Radio-TV-Film, and he worked briefly in television prior to starting his medical career. We can all look forward to salient commentary and clinically useful opinions from Dr. Thomas. Please join me in welcoming him aboard.
