A networking opportunity: Computer use in the EHS
A networking opportunity: Computer use in the EHS
If your employee health service is equipped with a computer, what software program(s) do you use? Do you find it adequate for your needs? For what specific tasks do you use it? Do you use it just to record data, or do you manage data as well?
Are you connected to an on-line service? If so, have you found any specific information sites to be especially useful? How does having a computer help you do your job? Do you think computerization is essential to the EHS today?
If your EHS is not computerized, we want to hear from you, too. Have you tried to obtain a computer, but with no luck? Or, are there other reasons for your department's lack of computerization?
Please share your computer experiences for an upcoming article. Send a brief letter to: Editor, Hospital Employee Health, P.O. Box 740056, Atlanta, GA 30374. We will call you for a short interview, so be sure to include your phone number. Please respond right away. *
