PFStats shows accounts receivable winners

The American Guild of Patient Account Management has changed its name to the American Association of Healthcare Administrative Management (AAHAM).

The Washington, DC-based organization is a source of information on trends, legal and financial issues, and general business office management. Its publication, the Journal of Healthcare Administrative Management, is published quarterly.

Quarterly data available

As a member benefit, AAHAM is launching PFStats, an accounts receivable benchmarking program that will offer statistics on a quarterly basis. The information will be published in its Journal and on its Web site (http://www.aaham. org). More detailed information is available for an additional subscription fee.

(For sample accounts receivable performance benchmarks using actual survey information, see chart, below.)
