Option Care continues to expand into managed care
Option Care Inc. of Bannockburn, IL, recently announced the signing of new agreements to provide home care services to members of five different managed care organizations.
Three of the agreements are for comprehensive home care services, including infusion. The contracts are with the following organizations: BlueChoiceMC+, which manages 5,000 Medicaid lives in Central Missouri; Prime Care Health Network, covering 45,000 members nationwide; and Safeclo Life, a nationwide health plan excess loss carrier.
Two additional agreements were signed, one with ChoiceCare’s start-up Medicare Risk plan in Ohio for home health and infusion services, the other with IntegraHome’s national network for infusion services to more than 4.5 million eligible members.
These agreements come on the heels of home care contracts signed with Private Healthcare Systems and Foundation Health Plan. The two plans cover more than six million lives nationwide. t
