The Wisconsin Cancer Pain Initiative published a resource manual when developing the standards in conjunction with the Joint Commission on Accredi tation of Healthcare Organizations. Building an Institutional Commitment to Pain Management, the Wisconsin Resource Manual for Improvement outlines key elements of a process for institutionalizing pain management.
