Women’s health symposium scheduled
Providers who missed the recent women’s conference, "Blending Traditions in the 21st Century: A Women’s Health Symposium," have a second opportunity to attend the event Sept. 29-Oct. 1 at Marco Island, FL. The symposium is cosponsored by the National Association of Nurse Practitioners in Reproductive Health (NANPRH) and the American College of Nurse-Midwives, both based in Washington, DC. A wide range of topics will be covered, including contraception, prenatal care, menopause management, urinary incontinence, cervical disease, sexually transmitted diseases, and primary care issues. Skill workshops will include IUD insertion, colposcopy, and endometrial biopsy.
