On-line HRA now available on the Web
Fitnesszone, a resource of fitness information located on the World Wide Web, and Medical & Sports Music Institute of America Inc. in Bloomfield, NJ, have launched a free on-line site on the Web called the Automatic Fitness Teller (so named because it is modeled after the way an ATM machine operates), which allows employees to participate in a personalized health and fitness profile. The profile identifies risk factors and makes specific exercise and pace recommendations.
The site is multimedia, with a music soundtrack in RealAudio. "This is not just an HRA; it tells you what type of exercise you should be doing," says James Sundquist, president of Medical & Sports Music Institute of America Inc.
The new site is located at http://www.fitnesszone.com/profiles. For more information, contact: Medical & Sports Music Institute of America Inc., P.O. Box 1177, Bloomfield, NJ 07003-1177. Telephone: (201) 429-1994.
