Help at Home expands its Medicaid waiver program
Help At Home, a Chicago-based provider of in-home support services to the elderly and disabled, has announced that its wholly owned subsidiary, Oxford HealthCare, has opened nine new offices in Mississippi to help serve the additional 1,200 Medicaid waiver clients the state has just added. The Mississippi Division of Aging and Adult Services has expanded its Medicaid waiver program from 16 counties to all 82 counties and is now providing homemaker services statewide.
In addition, Oxford HealthCare’s Jackson and Gulfport offices have received authorization to provide personal care and respite care services through the Mississippi Department of Mental Health’s Mental Retardation/Development Disability Waiver Program.
Also just secured are one-year contracts with the Three Rivers Planning and Development District in Pontotoc and the Southwest Mississippi Planning and Development District in Natchez. These contracts provide homemaker services to about 400 clients.
Help At Home provides services from 40 locations in Alabama, Illinois, Indiana, Mississippi, and Missouri. t
